| I'm offering this gorgeous vintage black fur cape or stole. It is short haired black pony fur...before you say anything, pony fur is a misnomer, its a fur trade name for calf, cow or steer hide. This is a absolutely beautiful cape that I believe dates from the 50's,but could be older. Your arms will be warm and cozy in the sleeve style covers and there are also slits for ease of movement. It closes down the front with three cloth covered hook& eyes. There is one pocket on the inside. There are straps that match the lining to put your arms through. There is also a elastic band that goes around your back to keep the back in place. Wear it to accent your party dress or dress up your favorite jeans. There is no missing or shedding fur on this wonderful item. There is one small place at the arm seam(see photo) where there it is as pulled apart ever so slightly and on one sleeve the stitching has popped ( a very easy fix). The measurements are: Shoulder - 18", Sleeve -20", Length front - 26", Length back - 24". |
